Gay news; Catholics to fast against gay marriage, anti-gay assault in Hell’s Kitchen and justice in Salt Lake City

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland, Maine is encouraging the State’s Catholics to take part in a 40-day prayer and fasting campaign to convince God to stop Gay Marriage. In the Netherlands the Catholic church would not even say things like that anymore for being ridiculed, the one in the U.S. seems as strict and anti-gay as the Vatican. I think that a God that made people gay, would want them to be able to get married.

In the Hell’s Kitchen area of NYC right in front of McCoys bar, a gay man and his friends were attacked in an anti-gay assault. A cigarette was thrown at them and when they turned around a man told them” Keep moving, Faggot”. words were exchanged and then the man threw one gay man against a car, denting it and punched another one a few times on his lip. That this happened in a gay-friendly part of Manhattan is a shock in itself but more so that the NYPD came and did nothing, no arrest not even taken the guy’s information. I knew cops all over the U.S treat gays badly but in Manhattan??

In Salt Lake City a gay man,D.J. Bell has been acquitted of burglary and kidnapping charges in a case jurors called a waste of time. Two kids age 2 and 4 came to their gay neighbors house because their Polynesian family Latu had a rowdy drunken party all night and the kids could not sleep and felt unsafe. When the family later found out that the kids were at the gay couple’s house, they severely beat up the gay couple. The defense team is now looking into filing charges against Bell’s attackers. It’s unbelievable this case even went to court, the Latu family should be going to jail themselves.

Man tries “pumping iron" with penis

In Newport Beach firefighter had to be called to save a man’s penis that got stuck in the hole of a steel dumbbell. The man was trying to enlarge his penis with it. It had swollen to five times its original size(see, it works, people!!!) He originally refused treatment but after medical personnel told the man this the flesh of his penis would die if he would not remove it quickly he agreed. Fire fighters were busy two hours to cut with a saw through the metal ring. Ouch!!

Kimiko Date Krumm oldest WTA title winner since 1983

The Japanese woman who turns 39 tomorrow won the tour title in Seoul today. Last year she made a comeback at the smaller ITF tournaments and this year she tried at the bigger tournaments but mostly because of the really hard draws she kept getting, she had not won a first round this year. That happened for the first time this week and she did a lot more than just winning 1 round. By beating Pavlyuchenko, Hantuchova, Kirilenko and Medina Garrigues she beat 4 top 30 players in a row. Her quick style of playing with great angles(typical asian style) proved too much for the other girls. Since Billie Jean King in 1983 a woman that old had not won. Amazing!!

Teacher fired for gay nude pics

An allegedly straight and hunky teacher of the Harvey Grammar school in Kent was fired after naked pictures of him  on a gay website resurfaced. One pupil got it sent to him via a link on facebook and then it spread like wildfire through the school. The 25-year-old teacher came to school not knowing anything but was quickly shipped to the principal's office and asked to leave. The pics were not pornographic but too much for the school none the less. I actually think the teacher should be happy being fired because I think the kids would have never let him forget about this one. He is probably better off now!!

Gossip; Renee Zellweger no real Bridget Jones, Mike Seaver a bit crazy and fights on the Sex and the City-set

I am not at all a big fan of Renee Zellweger but as Bridget Jones she did a good job in the past. For the new Bridget Jones movie though she does not wanna gain weight again like she did the other 2 times. She will be wearing a fat suit, how lame!!!. As a reason her publicist says that losing the weight was hard the second time and it’s bad for the body. Well, at least she already has a bloated puffy face so that makes it easier to believe. 

Kirk Cameron, aka Mike Seaver from “Growing Pains” used to melt many girls and guys’ hearts during his sitcom days. My boyfriend actually had a big crush on him back in the day. As cute as he was then, now everything that comes out of his mouth is a lot less hot. I knew he was a christian fanatic but the things he said the past week where just ridiculous. First he wants to go and  crusade at schools that teach evolution because it’s wrong and he calls Darwin a vagina-hater and a racist. He also says Hitler’s actions were inspired by Darwin. Somebody sure looks a lot better with his mouth closed.

Apparently the Sex and the City set is not all fun and games. According to reports Sarah Jessica Parker(Carrie) and Kim Cattrall(Samantha) still dislike each other and so much that they refuse to talk to each other on the set leaving everyone uncomfortable. Both are really stressed, SJP because of her young son and baby twins at home. It’s always hard to believe that people playing best friends in a show hate each other that much.

Gossip; 90’s icons comeback, John Travolta, Joy Behar backs Elton

Three icons of the 90’s are making a comeback!! Heather Locklear will be reprising her role as Amanda Woodward in the new Melrose Place. The Spice Girls might reunite and go back on tour again and Robbie Williams will perform with Take That again in the original line-up. Brings back good memories!!

Poor John Travolta. Still trying to cope with the death of his son, he now has to testify about it all against the people who tried to extort money from him right after his son’s death(a paramedic and a lawyer). He already talked about reviving his son and his son’s autism yesterday. I hope the horrible people who were trying to make money of the Travolta’s at such a horrible time will go to jail long!!!

The View host Joy Behar proved once again she is a friendly voice to the gay community. She wrote an article for CNN in which she confronts the minister of sports, family and youth who did not approve of Elton John adopting a baby from an orphanage in the Ukraine. She says “family doesn’t mean a huddle of orphans sharing a soiled mattress, it;s not youth if you die of aids before you reach kindergarten and wrestling over dinner scraps is not a sport. And that is Lev’s faith now that the Ukrainian government said Elton and David can’t adopt him. They say it’s because they are too old, but it’s probably because they are too gay”. Amen!!! Joy is as usual totally right on again.

Gay news; Maine bigots use kids as excuse again, Mika bi, bullfighting to become gayer

In Maine the battle on marriage equality is raging on heavily. And of course the bigots use lies again in their ads. In a new ad they say that the gay movement says gay marriage has nothing to do with school, but according to them it has everything to do with school. A worried mother and father said there 8-year old kid came home and told them he learned at school a man can marry a man. This is a lie firstly, but secondly is it so bad if a kid would learn that at school??. Will his world collapse, will he turn gay immediately?? Some of my nephews know about me being with my boyfriend since age 5 and they are absolutely fine with it. If a parent does not make a big deal out of it, neither do the kids.

Singer Mika talked to dutch magazine Gay&Night and told them he “never limits himself, so also not to whom he sleeps with”. So if someone wants to label him ” Call me bisexual”. But he still recommends being label-less. He picked a good day to do this, september 23 was ‘Celebrate Bi-sexuality day’. Someone commented on this: “Sure, girl, you are bi, me too!! He is just afraid to lose female fans.” I kind of agree with that comment. While I surely believe people can be bi-sexual, I highly doubt Mika is one of them. Still love his music though!

Spanish matador Joselito Ortega is about to gay up bullfighting, literally. He will be plugging a club-scene energy drink called Gay Up and will have these words embroidered in his cape in large letters. Top bullfighters are seen as macho celebrities in Spain so this is quite controversial. Ortega thinks it would be nice if he would be a symbol for the gay community.
