The world championships swimming surely are a feast for the eyes. First there is the mostly semi-nude audience of a lot of other swimmers that the camera’s show before the race and then the swimmers themselves. Best bodies from all sports in my opinion. Of course the sport on itself is great for TV and super exciting, but swimmers like Americans Ryan Lochte, Eric Shanteau(cancer survivor) and French sprinters Alain Bernard and Frederick Bousquet make it even better.

The US open series Tennis have started this week with one of my favorite tournaments in the world, the one in Stanford, Ca. I have been to that tournament a couple years in a row when I was still living in the Bay Area. It has a great atmosphere, you can be very close to the players and the vicinity is beautiful as well. But most importantly the player’s entry list is every year pretty spectacular. One of the Williams sisters generally cancels this tournament at the last minute but this year both are here and already in the quarter-finals. The other six are Elena Dementieva, Maria Sharapova, Marion Bartoli, Jelena Jankovic, Sam

 Stosur and Daniela Hantuchova. That would be a great final eight for any slam let alone a smaller tournament like this.

4 Lesbians arrested for assault on anti-gay Catholics

A group of anti-gay Catholic activists who were protesting same-sex marriage in Rhode Island were attacked by a group of 4 young lesbians who hurled eggs, salsa and drinks and pepper spray at the group. They had seen the men there for several days and after the men called them the anti-Christ and sinners it turned into a riot. The women regret their immature behavior and they should. Things like this cause the gay movement a lot of harm. Now bigots can claim gays are being the aggressor and this time they are sorta right. If you remember how they milked the stupid woman with the Styrofoam cross that got broken, you know how things will go with this. I can totally understand being super pissed off at anti-gay activists but violence is never the answer.

Gay news bites; Mormon kiss, Washington bigots win and more

The government of Albania has proposed a law that would allow same -sex marriage. Prime minister Berisha said the law was an important move against discrimination. 14 years ago it was even punishable there. They take much bigger steps then the U.S. government.

Charges were dropped against the gay couple that was kissing at the Mormon owned square in Salt Lake City earlier this month. A video has also surfaced that shows the actions before and during the arrest.

Washington bigots for now won there lawsuit against the state of Washington in order to make sure names of people that signed a petition against domestic partnerships were not named. Ridiculous and unexpected. Stand up for being a bigot!

 Hawaii football coach Greg McMackin repeatedly asked the media not to cover his homophobic slurs during a media preview on Thursday. He said Hawaii opponents Notre Dame did this faggot dance at the banquet the night before the game. He apologized for the slurs and made clear he was not homophobic and hoped the media would not report it. Of course they did! Well, at least this guy knows he did something wrong right away.

Police chiefs Barry Carpenter and Chad Dojack were arrested for trying to break into the home of Sarah Jessica Parker's surrogate last month. A third man, the son of a major in Ohio was also booked. What a bunch of idiots. Hope they go to jail for a long time.

I wish I was in New York right now because there will be an open casting for the next Sex and the City movie Tuesday august 4 between 1.30-4 for non-actors. First the casting for the gay movie from my favorite blogger/author Jesse Archer and now this. Why are there never great castings like this when I am in New York?

According to Joe Jackson Omer Bhatti, a Norwegian dancer,is indeed the son of Michael. Omer has denied it himself and Joe Jackson does not seem really reliable, but he does look a bit like a Jackson and he was seated at the front row at the funeral.

After the first rumors that Abba was gonna make a comeback in London to fill up the concert spaces left after Michael Jackson's passing, now the rumors go that it will be both Robbie Williams and Whitney Houston. I doubt they can fill 50 days and Whitney is not really a big concert singer but we will see. It's a nice combo.

Carry Prejean is suing the Miss California organization as well as Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler(pageant organizers) for slander, religious discrimination, libel and intentional infliction of emotional distress. I think the bitch just wants money and publicity.

And Britney Spears is spotted back behind the wheels. She hasn't been seen driving in over a year. With some Starbucks in hand, rough looking dark weave and the crazies back in her eyes, this is looking not too well. Why is she drinking caffeine period??; not the best thing while having mental issues.

Gay news; another hate crime during Outgames, bigots in Washington and more

Another hate crime happened in the normally so easy-going Denmark during the Outgames. After the attack on three men last weekend, now a few explosive devices were thrown at athletes during the track& field events. Nobody got seriously injured and it was more extreme fireworks then real bombs, but in any event things like this really should not be happening at all. The cops handled it well though in finding and arresting the 31-year old idiot.

Oh the poor bigots that signed the petition against domestic partnerships in Washington do not wanna have their names be made public fearing a public backlash. They are suing the state to prevent publication. Hope they lose, if you wanna be a hater you have to stand up for it. People are allowed to know who spends money and energy against gays so they can stop giving to them.

Caroline Leto and Venera Magazzu from Florida are a lesbian couple and have been domestic partners since 1996. so far nothing special. But these ladies have met in 1939 and are a couple for over 70!! years. They still bicker and love each other like any other couple. The picture of them made me smile and believe in getting older, gay and being happily coupled a bit more.

Farrah Fawcett's son Redmond inherits $ 3million dollar from her. Luckily it's gonna be a supervised monthly allowance so the drug addict does not all spent it the wrong way.

Lance Armstrong is in a war or words with his team mate and Tour de France winner Alberto Contador. Contador said their relationship did not exist as team mates and he never had and never will have admiration for Armstrong. Many people in the U.S. seem upset about Contador's statement but I think he is right. Just because you survive cancer does not make you a great person. Lance seems arrogant, selfish and was not in any way helping out front man Contador during this tour.Of course Armstrong himself was very unhappy with Contador's comments.

During the world championships swimming not the fact that Michael Phelps lost for the first time in years in a big tournament made the biggest headlines,but the ripped swimsuit of Ricky Behrens did. It gave people a great view on his very well formed behind. Holland won it's first gold with the female team relay just  as they did in Beijing. Hurrah!

Jude Law is gonna be a dad again. This time not from a steady girlfriend of wife but from a trick he had a while ago. He really needs to keep his manhood under control better. First all the cheating, now this.

Broadway sales better then ever

Contrary to earlier reports that mentioned the closing of several shows on Broadway due to the bad economy, the year 2008-2009 has brought in a record of $943 million dollars. More then the last 24 years in which it has been recorded. That’s great news but not that surprising. Nothing cheers you up better then a great Broadway show.

In 15 cities in the U.S. the 15th of august will be kiss-in day. It’s for gay people to be able to express their affection. A great idea, if I am in New York that day I will kiss my sweetie as well outside!!

No “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in Britain where a decorated Iraq veteran who happens to be gay was on the front page of the official British soldier magazine. Soldier James Wharton is the first openly gay man ever to feature on the front of that magazine. Just 10 years ago it was still illegal to be gay in the British Army but they have come a long way since.

Gay cops Steven Ponder and Ivan Sigston became the first couple in the UK to get a child through a related surrogate. The sister of 28- year old Ponder( a mother of three) volunteered to have their baby when they showed the desire to start a family. Sigston donated the sperm but both he and Ponder have to legally adopt little William Cameron Ponder-Sigston. 

Governor Schwarzenegger has dramatically slashed down the aids funding in California. The cuts include : an 80% reduction in funding for Education & Prevention, a 70% cut in HIV Counseling and Testing, a 50% cut for Early Intervention (that provides primary medical care), a 100% cut in Therapeutic Monitoring Program (the program that monitors the effectiveness of HIV/AIDS drugs administered through the state’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program), a 20% cut in Housing and more than a 50% cut in funding for Home and Community-Based Care. A very sad day for people with hiv/aids in California and people caring for them.

Gay news; Washington gay law blocked, Outgames homophobia, El Paso backs gays

The Washington domestic partnerships law, scheduled to go into effect Sunday, was blocked by anti gay groups who turned in signatures to put a referendum on the ballot that would repeal the “everything but marriage” measure.  I saw clips on how they gathered those signatures basically by scamming people into signing something they are not in favor of. 

At the Outgames in Copenhagen three men were attacked by a 28 and 33 year old after the opening on Friday night. The men were called faggots and ended up in the hospital with their injuries. They have since been released. The attackers are being held into custody until the games are over next weekend. Awful that things like that happen even in an open-minded county. I guess idiots are everywhere.

Some good news from the Outgames as well. Jack Mackenroth from Project Runway won a bronze medal in the 200m freestyle swimming. I bet he looks hot in a speedo. I have seen him work out in my gym multiple times and he seems like a great guy with a super hot body!

And the El Paso city council has unanimously approved a resolution reaffirming the city’s dedication to tolerance and acceptance of gays. This was necessary after the confrontation between a few gay men and security guards at Chico’s tacos restaurant, a story  have blogged about a few weeks ago. The police department has made a promise to teach more about diversity as well following the reaction of an officer that tried to charge the gay men with “homosexual conduct”

Iron chef Cat Cora gave birth to a baby boy named Nash last week. She was carrying a baby conceived with her partner Jennifer’s egg. Jennifer already gave birth to a baby with cat Cora’s egg. A little confusing but if it works for them!

Michael Vick is released from prison and maybe people are speculating about his return to the Football world. He was in prison for severely abusing multiple dogs. I think he should have been in prison longer and surely does not belong back in a family friendly sport like the NFL.

French president Nicholas Sarkozy had to spent Sunday night in a hospital after collapsing Sunday during a run. Contrary to earlier reports he has never lost conscience but had a minor lipotropic episode caused by fatigue and strenuous exercise in the heat.

Comedienne Lisa Lampanelli was pissed that she could not be the host of Joan Rivers’ roast for Comedy Central, an event she normally does present. This time it will be Joan’s friend Kathy Griffin who has the main roasting honors and Lisa says if she can’t host she is not even gonna participate at all. Kinda sour, Lisa is funny but she is no Kathy!

This weekend the yearly underwear run was held in Central Park. 500 people running around in their underwear with a strict no thong policy. I wasn’t there but have seen pictures and some of it was very hot and also a lot, very not!

Football player Reggie Bush and famous for nothing person Kim Kardashian have broken up after 2 years. Could not care less but it’s on all the news so apparently other people do care. To keep the same ass he might wanna date Kirstie Alley.

What did surprise me was that even 42% of Manhattanites are too fat. 67% of the nation is too fat and the cites other boroughs range between 58-62%. For the whole city of New York it seems that the bigger the apartment the smaller the waist. The Netherlands sits at about 40% with a higher chance of obesity for immigrants.

A fellow sailor has been charged by the Navy for the killing of August Provost, a story I have blogged about last week here. The man named Jonathan Campos was a 31-year old gas system technician. An investigative hearing will be held in the coming weeks. Hopefully the whole truth comes out.

Stu Rasmussen, the U.S's  first transsexual major from Silverton is facing a complaint from Silverton together, a non-profit group, for dressing too slutty. He spoke to students wearing a bathing suit top, mini skirt and fuck-me heels. According to Stu it was hotter then hell that day and he thinks he looks like a hot woman without his face and a fairly attractive woman with his face. I saw pics of him and I would not say his face is even a tiny bit attractive as a woman. I think he crossed the line here and was dressed inappropriately. I do wonder  though if the group would have also filed a complaint if he was born as a woman.

A group calling itself Christian Civil Liberties Union(basically the family Maziarka) filed a claim to burn a book for young adults with gay content in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The book is about a teen struggling with homosexuality and also tells about the teen being harassed by a homophobic group. According to the "Christian" group the book is vulgar and anti-Christian. They also demand money for being exposed to the book and want to place ex-gay books in the library to balance the pro-gay books. Is anybody taking such idiots like the Maziarka's seriously. People like that are not real Christians, because real Christians have compassion for others. These people are just crazy.

A 77-year old gets a Transgender operation. Renee Ramsey is a former green beret specialist in Vietnam and served in the army for 20 years. She always liked dressing up in men’s clothing even during her two marriages and now will become one the oldest transsexual in the world.

A former minister in Gatesville, Texas apparently did not agree with my “gay is the new black”posting. He paid for a huge sign on the main street of town saying “gay rights are not civil rights”. The woman, who is the owner of the sign, told journalists she normally does not put up any negative messages but agrees with this one. According to her she even  received death threats. The sign was paid for three days and has since been taken down.

Former boxing champion Mark Leduc was found dead at age 47 in a hotel sauna in Toronto suffering a heat stroke. He was gay in a very homophobic sport and maybe because of that became a great spokes person for the gay world.At the Olympics in Barcelona in 1992 he won a silver medal.

EyeWorks production, the company of dutch former actor Reinout Oerlemans(who is married to Lance Armstrong’s ex girlfriend) is gonna make a reality show with Octomom Nadya Suleman and her kids.The kids will make 250K a person in the next three years because of this. I will certainly not watch it but the show might become a big hit.

Madonna will have a news single out on august 3. It’s part of her new greatest hits collection. I heard snippets of it and it sounds pretty cool.

Johnny Depp told media his dream role would be playing Carol Channing in a biopic of her life. She was immediately enthusiastic about the idea and mentioned men have imitated her since the beginning of her career. He can pull everybody so why not Carol Channing.

LeAnn Rimes and her husband Dean Sheremet are separated. Not a surprise for those who have seen LeAnn slutting it up with actor Eddy Cibrian in recent months. Her ex-husband was her former back-up dancer and has always seemed gay to me. Maybe that has to do with it.

Unfortunately, New York senator Kirsten Gillibrand had to give up on her proposed bill to suspend the enforcement of Don’t Ask, Don’ tell because of lack of support. While I believe DADT is ridiculous and should be unlawful, it’s not one of my main gay agenda points of interest. I never forget living in the Bay Area next to a sergeant in the Navy  and his wife who were really pro-gay and friendly, but did not believe gays in the military were a good thing for moral. I always assumed he knew more about it then I did so I have a hard time making up my opinion about this. What I do know is that DADT has to go.

The city of San Francisco wants in on the prop 8 lawsuit. They think they can give a unique local government perspective to the case along with extensive legal experience in defending gay and lesbian rights. A great idea in my opinion and more chances for equal rights in California.

The Boatslip resort in Provincetown will keep holding his afternoon Dance parties and will not turn into residential condos. I guess many gays are happy they can keep on partying, but I am happy because I think Provincetown should stay the way it is. The best way to keep it’s magical charm.

Michael Jackson’s death is now officially seen as a homicide(death at the hands of another) with Dr. Conrad Murray being the main target in the manslaughter case. He has been holding back files and police has raided his office and interrogates his employees. People also question the time of death he has given for Jackson. 

David Beckham has to pay a $1000 fine for challenging some L.A. Galaxy fans for a fight after they had been booing and insulting him at his own stadium. I think Beckham is right here, the fans should be happy he is back in the U.S. Any soccer player would prefer playing for A.C Milan instead of the L.A. Galaxy, and fans should understand this.

Obama scores a less then 50% approval rate for the first time since he started. Curious what he will end up after 4 years. Probably in the same league as Bush Jr. if he keeps working like this. The opinion about the U.S. in other countries is much higher though since Obama became president, except Israel.

Roger Federer and his wife Mirka got twins yesterday, 2 girls Charlene and Myla. The guy seriously gets everything(except a hot wife). I have a twin brother as well and know how special that is.

And Jude Law is being investigated by authorities for hitting a female paparazzi. He says it was an accident. I can understand famous people every now and then getting so pissed off at the paps that they flip out, but hitting is never the right answer.

Hugo Braakhuis, former owner of gay bar Montmartre, was kissing a friend after a night out at the Rembrandtsplein in Amsterdam when he and his friend here called faggots. His friend was then pulled on the street and was kicked multiple times, suffering bruises and cuts. The police was there and arrested 4 men. Surprise, surprise, almost all were Moroccan. Woman injects silicone lube into own face

A 54-year-old mother of three from the bay area in California was unhappy with her face. After a visit to a plastic surgeon she thought she could do injections herself and bought a 10 dollar vile of liquid silicone. She injected it into her cheeks and lips. The next day everything was swollen, infected and inflamed. This week she had corrective surgery but will probably always have scars. Apparently these actions happen more and more because of the economy and the notion that plastic surgery is fool prove. This is just so stupid it's hard to believe. I feel sorry for people like Priscilla Presley who was injected with car silicone in her face without her knowledge. Nobody would do their own root-canal or nose job either,but why this?

Paul Stanley who according to himself is a “family values” guy( married with to children) and has voted against gay adoptions was being blackmailed by the boyfriend of his mistress, a 22-year-old intern. Joel Watts found pornographic pictures from his girlfriend taken at Stanley’s house. After demanding $10.000 t0 keep quiet, Stanley went to the FBI and they set up Watts. What guy with any values does this, let alone family values. Poor wife and kids.

The oldest independent gay bookstore in the U.S., Giovanni’s room in Philadelphia needs help to guarantee its survival. A wall has to be rebuilt from the ground up costing $ 50.000. The store will stay open during the construction because it can’t survive without customer revenue around that time. Hope it does not end up like Oscar Wilde bookstore in New York, one of my favorite stops in the village until it closed earlier this year.

There have been many gay people on Big Brother’s all over the world and some of them even won. But this year in Britain they have the first gay couple in the 10 years the show is on. I have not seen clips but I think it’s good for straight people to see a gay couple falling in love on live TV. Just to show we are just like them!

This weekend the World Outgames begin in Copenhagen, nearly 200.000 participant are expected. It brings back sweet memories to the Gay Games in Amsterdam back in 1998. I was still in my teens, clubbing and  partying. I really had a great time there with some many gay people visiting from all over the world.

 Millionaire Matchmaker Patty Stanger might finally get married herself soon. After almost 6 years of being a couple her real estate hubby proposed to the 48 year old Patty. Happy for her, she seems like a great and smart lady. and I love that show of hers on Bravo.

And Kiefer Sutherland will not be prosecuted against in the head-butting incident by the Manhattan district attorney. He broke the nose of a friend of Brooke Shields, fashion designer Jack McCullough, after he bumped into her without apologizing. Lucky for the 24’s Jack Bauer. He has been in prison enough the last few years.

Is Gay the new Black

The discussion which is harder, being black or being gay has been going on since the proposition 8 debacle in California. Gay marriage was mostly voted against by the African American community then and since that day gays and black have been warring against each other on this issue. According to the African American community it is insulting to equal their civil rights movement to the gay rights movement.I have to disagree. Right now in the U.S being openly gay is just as much an issue for some people as being black is for others. If a black person is being discriminated against everyone comes up in arms( and rightly so) and for gays that has just happened marginally( in the last few years). African Americans can get married everywhere (as they should) but gays can’t. And the argument that they are born black and gays choose to be gay is just such a ridiculous and bigoted view, it should not even be used in discussions anymore. The only point  I can agree with is that not everyone can see someone is gay right from the start as they can see that someone is black. But another much bigger argument for the side that being gay is harder is that black children are never thrown out of their houses or being discriminated against by their families, something many gay teens have experienced. And being discriminated against by your own family is worse then anything else.

American Apparel stores attacked for gay t-shirts

In the Washington DC area, the attacks happened at a store where the shirts were in the front display windows. One said “legalize gay” and the other” gay beach” First came telephone attacks by people wanting to break the window and eventually in the early morning a broken window did happen at a Silver Spring location. The store has taken down the display in fear of other attacks. I think they should leave it there and have security or something. This is just ridiculous and the next time the anti gay crowd goes on about how they are the most peaceful, everyone should know better.

Britney Spears conservatorship might be coming to an end soon. Her dad will ask the court to review the terms of it after her concert tour ends in November. He has already taken care of her since early 2008. I think it’s time to let Britney be her own boss again.

And Brit’s ex hubby F-Fed(now K-Fat is getting his own reality show on VH1. Why you wonder. I dunno!!! Maybe it’s a weight losing show or something.

The Naked Cowboy, aka Robert Burck is running for Major of New York. I always enjoy seeing him taking pictures with tourists at Times Square, simply because he is hot. I doubt he will win but if he does he will be the hottest major in the U.S. instead of San Francisco major Gavin Newsom, currently the sexiest mayor.

Joe Jackson claims he never abused his son Michael and then proceeds to say slaves where abused in the olden days and parents hit their kids all the time. Yeah, that makes us believe him more. If there is one person fault at Michael Jackson’s death it’s him and not the doctors he accuses.

It was Pink Monday again yesterday at one of the biggest carnival fairs in the Netherlands. Every year since 1990 Tilburg turns pink for 300.000 gays, drag queens and lesbians from all over Europe riding the swings and bumper cars. The theme this year was Be Gay for a day.

Gay and Mormons clashed at a third demonstration over the kiss at a Mormon owned square in Salt Lake City( I have reported about that before on this blog). According to the gays is was just a modest kiss and according to the Mormons it was lewd behavior. This was the third kiss-in that was organized by the gay community and 100 gays came to the square to protest. This time though the Mormons had some counter protesters that kept going on about that is was bad for kids to see gay people kissing. Kids don’t care about men kissing at all, as long as their parents talk about gays in a normal way.

A  gay teen was bullied at a 4H camp in Virginia while counsellors were outside at the porch and not checking in on the kids for the 1.5 hours the teasing went on. Feel sad for the 15y old kid. I was teased about my sexuality at about that age as well at school. It never made me cry but it did turn me from a sensitive and caring boy into a person with a shielded outlook that did not care about others at all for a few years.

Bam Margera from Jackass was rushed to the hospital yesterday following a possible overdose. According to his mother he was just severely dehydrated. Yeah, right.

Former tennis star Pam Shriver is being sued for spousal support by her former husband, James bond, George Lazenby. They signed a prenup but he says Pam has way more money then him and wants his share. Last year Pam put out a restraining order against him after he threatened to kill her. It already seemed to good to be true, a former babe magnet and James Bond marrying a woman who was once famously removed out of a female toilet for looking to masculine.

Carry Prejean is gonna write a tell-all book named “Standing Still”. It’s about the lefts double standard on free speech and the bias against conservatives. I did not know she could write!! Probably will only write the “thank you note” in the back of the book herself.

And Pittsburgh Steeler’s Ben Roethlisberger is being accused of sexual assault by an employee of Harrah’s hotel in Reno. He asked her to come to his room and then forced her to have sex with him. What did she think was gonna happen in the room?? I always highly doubt the motives of such women. She probably wanted it herself and now hopes to make a quick buck.

Michael Jackson’ kids have two possible new guardians. First there is sister Janet Jackson who has grown closer to the kids after the death of their dad. And then there is Michael’s gay dermatologist Arnold Klein, rumored to be the father of the oldest 2 kids. I think Janet would be a better choice.

Every time I see pictures of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ kids, I am shocked that two good-looking people like that can produce such unattractive kids. Well, at least they have a ton of money.

Bruce Jenner, former Olympian hero and step dad of the Kardashians has admitted to having some bad plastic surgery in the past and has now had some reconstructive surgery. He still looks like a middle-ages lesbian woman so it was not a success in my opinion.

The supervisor responsible for two of the agents has retired as well. Steen said that the two agents, who are on desk duty now, should have not been granted approval from the supervisor to raid the bar. They think another soldier that was scared of being outed by Provost has shot him and lit a fire to destroy the evidence.According to his family he had a heated argument with the suspect a week before his killing and he had been harassed about his sexuality in the months prior to his death. Many LGBT activist say this is in indirect cause of” Don’t ask, Don’t tell”and I think they might be right here. 4 of them are critically injured after 2 light rail transit cars had a collision. One of the conductors miscalculated a turn and bumped into another standing one . The accident happened in the west of the city around the Castro station. My boyfriend and I used to live in the Bay Area for years and I love that city. More even then New York. A host from the Evangelical Network had an invitation to be on a boat from the National Coordination group for church and homosexuality and even though he was up for it the Network denied him saying they have their own way and means to represent homosexuality and that is not through a gay pride. Would be a good answer if they would indeed have other ways to talk about gays but they do not. Ignoring it or being negative is their motto. 10 Moroccan boys arrested for inappropriately touching girls

This happened in a swimming pool in Ridderkerk in the Western part of the Netherlands. They were in the ages between 12-15. Problems of this nature with young Moroccan boys have been happening for a couple years now every summer in swimming pools all over the Netherlands. This is what happens in a culture where men are allowed everything and are being treated like little princes. When I used to go to gay establishments back home there were often Moroccan men that would not take no for an answer and kept following and approaching me, after making very clear multiple times I wasn’t interested. The hate crimes bill got passed by a 63-28 vote in the Senate. A great and important step. Unfortunately the Democratic Senate Majority Leader attached the bill to a $ 1.75 billion measure in funding for F-22 fighter jets that is also included in this legislation. Obama has already told he is not gonna vote in favor of the F-22 program. This will mean the hate crimes bill will also be vetoed and needs to be sent back to the Senate for a re-write. Stupid from the Democratic party. Now it will be a while before the bill will become law, just because they also want other things pushed through that have nothing to do with the hates crimes bill.

Renee Zellweger is gonna star in a new Bridget Jones movie. I don’t like Renee Zellweger but she is really good as Bridget Jones. I loved to books and liked the movies as well. The first 2 were based upon the books and that’s what made them good. Without another book I have my doubts this one will be that great. 88 year old men drives 12 miles an hour on highway

The dutch man had his drivers license removed after driving this slow where you are allowed to drive 74 miles an hour. The police could not get him to stop and they had to corner his car. His excuse was that he was lost and it had rained a bit causing him to lower his speed. Wow, I have seen a lot of old people drive bad on the highway or other roads but this is something special.

2 men, Nathaniel Mims and Rasheed Thomas were charged and being arrested after throwing rocks and beer bottles at a transgender woman in Queens. They also shouted anti-gay slurs at her and threatened to cut her throat if she would ever walk on the same block again. The woman was treated for a deep cut on her leg in the hospital. I thought the day would never come that I would agree with that man but after hearing him speak about the whole Michael Jackson circus, I mostly agree with the things he says.

First of that his interactions with kids were unacceptable for any adult.

The African American community made him seem like a pillar of their community while he bleached his skin and has white children. Same goes for Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson almost making him seem like he was Martin Luther King. He was a great entertainer but that’s it.

And why is most of the media now glorifying him while they were so harsh and negative towards him after his child molestation trial. A little objectiveness would not hurt.

Maybe the wording is a little harsh from O’Reilly and the timing could be a little better, but I agree with the points he is making here.

Two men in a Mexican restaurant in El Paso were ejected and verbally assaulted by other customers and staff after kissing. The police came and told them it was illegal in Texas for 2 men or women to kiss in public and could be cited with homosexual conduct. Ridiculous that states in the US still have those rules. What about anti-discrimination laws.

From august 1, gay couples in Wisconsin can have many of the same rights of heterosexual married couples in that state by forming a legal domestic partnership. While it’s not total equality, this is probably now as good as it gets over there.

And Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakly filed a lawsuit challenging the federal government for denying equal benefits to citizens of her state under DOMA. Well done!! Hopefully she wins.

My posts today and probably tomorrow as well, are a little more mean-spirited then normal. Reason, I have an infected tooth and it hurts so bad!!!! even 600 mg Ibuprofen did not do the trick and I have barely slept last night. Hopefully the antibiotics will do their job quickly and I can resume to being just a little bit bitchy. Update, today even worse, really swollen and even after opening the tooth by the dentist today it still feels like shit. Update 2, the day after it was even more swollen and I looked like a pelican and had a swollen side under my tongue. The dentist did not trust it and pulled my tooth. Took forever and hurt but it was out in the end.The swelling was still bad the next day but finally today it’s a little less. Hopefully this will be the end, I am done with Ibuprofen as well, they make me dizzy. We don’t get percocet or stuff like that here in the Netherlands. The advantage is less people addicted to painkillers but I rather had some the last few days! Last sunday i needed an emergency incision to drain the puss, without any painkiller!!Update Now it finally seems resolved.

Update on taxi war killing

Surprise, surprise. The killer was 37 year old Side Mohammed B., a Moroccan. Some media and politicians yesterday tried to not mention this fact and thus I did not know this for sure either, but today the identity was given away by the police. The suspect had a taxi-company with 4 other Moroccan men in Amsterdam . Hopefully their company gets their licenses revoked and the murderer will sit in jail for the rest of his life. The man that got killed had 2 teenage girls and a baby.Very sad. One of his brother made the newspaper last year after being threatened to be killed by Abdullah S. ,while working as an ambulance-medic. Things like this are reasons more and more people vote for Geert Wilders in the Netherlands. He is the most vocal in the problems we have as a country with aggressive Moroccan men.

Tour de France

I am a big sports fan and even sports that I do not like I can appreciate on TV, in general. The exception to that rule is the Tour de France. While I find it very impressive that all those bikers can finish such a brutal rally, watching it on TV is so extremely boring in my opinion, like watching paint dry. Another big factor in my dislike is the doping use in this sport, probably the most in any televised sport in the world(except for maybe body-building.) I read somewhere that it basically is impossible to win the Tour in the last decades without  abusing steroids and I agree with that. Lance Armstrong fans can read into this what they want.
