Forth Worth, Texas police seems to have learned something
After their ridiculous bar raid last week(I wrote a piece about that in an earlier post) the police department has met a storm of angry protesters and criticism. While the steps they took are little and insufficient, injured Charlie Gibson only left the hospital yesterday and will likely have headaches for years, it’s better then nothing. First the Police Chief Jeff Halstead has ordered sensitivity training for his officers(very needed) and the department has announced it will stop the raids(bar checks) from now on. Hopefully the cops will take back those ridiculous claims that the patrons were groping them as well. Maybe the ordering of the sensitivity training was a small apology for that.
